Me: "Madeleine what do you say about Christmas?"
Madeleine shrugs: "I don't know."
Me: "That all?"
Madeleine: "Where's your Panasonic thing?" [Dad's note: Dad got a camcorder]
Me: "It's charging."
Madeleine: "What are you going to use it for?"
Me: "Do you really need to ask?"
Madeleine rolls her eyes.
Me: "How about if you dance around like a nut cracker?"
Madeleine: "I'm good."
